D.C. Veggie Burger in Pita
A perfect example of veggie burger fusion. Pita instead of bun, yellow peppers instead of tomatoes, parsley and spinach instead of lettuce. And the homemade chili sauce (jam?) was a great addition. The patty itself was relatively standard, definitely not made on the premises, but with all of the other goodies piled on top, this sandwich doesn’t miss the mark.
